Looking for a Warmane alternative?
Warmane is one of the best-known Wrath of the Lich King private servers, and plenty of players look around for somewhere else to play: a quieter realm, different rates, or a way to play on a computer that can’t run the old client. This page covers what to compare and where Lasthavens fits.
What to compare
- Rates. How fast you level. Some players want the original pace, others want to reach Northrend quickly.
- Realm type. PvP realms let the other faction attack you in contested zones. PvE realms don’t.
- The client. Nearly every 3.3.5a server asks you to find and download a 17 GB client yourself, then edit its realm list.
- Cost. Check what a shop sells. Cosmetics are one thing, gear and power are another.
- Who runs it. A realm with a public place to talk to its staff, such as a Discord, is easier to trust.
How Lasthavens differs
- No client to download. The 3.3.5a client runs in your browser, so you open a page and play. Nothing to install and no realm list to edit.
- It plays on phones and tablets. Touch controls are built into the game’s own interface, on iPhone, iPad and Android.
- Rates: twice the normal experience from kills, quests and exploring.
- Realm type: PvP.
- Free to play.
Moving over
Characters don’t move between servers, so you start fresh on Lasthavens. With faster experience the early levels go quickly.
Play Lasthavens, or read how playing in a browser works first.
