Play Wrath of the Lich King on a Mac

Most Wrath of the Lich King private servers expect a Windows client, which on a Mac means Wine, CrossOver or a virtual machine. Lasthavens doesn’t: the game runs in your browser, so it works the same on an Intel Mac and on Apple silicon.

What you need

  • A Mac with a recent Chrome, Edge or Firefox
  • About 50 MB of download before the login screen, cached after that
  • A free Lasthavens account, which you make on the game’s login screen

Start playing

  1. Open lasthavens.com/play.
  2. Click Create Account, choose a name and password, then Login.
  3. Make a character and play.

Press Alt+Enter (Option+Return) or the Fullscreen button on the login screen for full screen.

Mouse and trackpad

A mouse with a right button plays best, as it always has. On a trackpad, a two-finger click is a right click and a two-finger drag scrolls.

The realm

One PvP realm, twice the usual experience from kills, quests and exploring, and free to play. Your characters are on the realm, so you can carry on from a phone or another computer.
