Play Wrath of the Lich King in your browser

Lasthavens is a free Wrath of the Lich King realm that you play in a browser tab. The game client is the 3.3.5a client rebuilt to run on the web, so there is no 17 GB download and no launcher to install. You open the page, make an account and play.

What you need

  • A computer running Windows, macOS, Linux or ChromeOS
  • A recent Chrome, Edge or Firefox. The game draws with WebGL 2, which they all support.
  • About 50 MB of download before the login screen on your first visit, and more as you travel. It is kept in your browser’s cache, so later visits are quicker.

Start playing

  1. Open lasthavens.com/play.
  2. On the login screen, click Create Account. Pick an account name and a password. An email address is optional.
  3. Log in, make a character and enter the world.

Press Alt+Enter, or the Fullscreen button on the login screen, to play full screen.

Is it the real game?

Yes. It is the Wrath of the Lich King 3.3.5a client, running on your own computer, not a video stream of a game running somewhere else. Your mouse and keyboard work as they always did, macros and keybindings included, and an AddOn Library on the character screen has a set of addons you can switch on.

What is saved, and where

Your characters live on the realm, so they are there whichever device you log in from. Settings and keybindings are saved by the browser you play in.

The realm

Lasthavens is one PvP realm with twice the normal experience from kills, quests and exploring. It is free to play.
